Read Our Unique Sudoku Scoring System Carefully before starting
We have designed this scoring system after watching 100+ players struggle. Here’s how the score
wil be calculated and understanding this will help you to maximize points:
- Mistake Count: The mistake count increases every time you enter an
incorrect number. Be careful! Mistakes deduct the score and more than 3 mistakes may result in
losing the game.
- Streak Count: Starting from 0, the streak count increases when you enter
consecutive correct numbers without making a mistake. The longer your streak, the higher your
bonus points!
Remember, every wrong input or mistake will set the Streak Count to
Zero(0).
- For Every correct number input:
- 1. Easy: (10 + Streak Count * 5)
- 2. Medium: (15 + Streak Count * 10)
- 3. Hard: (20 + Streak Count * 15)
- 4. Extreme: (30 + Streak Count * 20)
- Row Completion Bonus: +50 (Easy), +75 (Medium), +100 (Hard), +150 (Extreme)

From a daily player who used to avoid Medium puzzles-and now finishes them fast:
-
The Quick Scan
"Start with rows/columns/grids with the fewest missing digits, let's say just 2-3
numbers—these
often
reveal quick placements"
Why it works: Medium puzzles hide 1-2 obvious moves to help you start solving.
-
Spotting Hidden Pairs (The Silent Clue)
"Two numbers that can only go in two cells?? Mark them with notes(Pencil Marks)—they’ll
unlock
other
placements"
Pro tip: Circle hidden pairs lightly to avoid confusion.
-
The Elimination Game
"For tricky numbers (like 6 or 9), ask: Where can this not go?"
Example: If 6 can’t be in 7/9 cells of a row, it must be in the remaining two.
-
Use Pencil Marking Smartly
Here is when you really need to use the 'Notes' feature:
- Write numbers normally when you are 90% sure
- Two or three possible candidates
Avoid: Over-marking—Medium Sudoku Puzzles shouldn’t need endless notes.
